Cyberpunk 2077 studio CD Projekt RED has said it believes the game has finally reached a "satisfying level" of stability following a troubled launch and six-months of post-launch patches.

CEO Adam Kicinski made the comments during a WSE Innovation Day conference in the developer's native Poland as reported on by TVN24 (and translated by VGC). As a result, Kicinski says the team can now dedicate the attention of future updates to focus on improving the game's features & systems, and addressing fan feedback.

According to the report, Kicinski said on the game's stability: “We have reached a satisfying level in this regard. We have also been working on improving the overall quality, which we are also quite happy about."

He continued, "Of course, we also removed bugs and visual glitches and we will continue to do that. Over time, we will also be introducing improvements to the general game systems that players have highlighted.”

To say Cyberpunk 2077 has had struggled since launch would be an understatement, with the game running particularly bad on base Xbox One systems. We've been documenting the saga quite extensively, as you can see

With the studio also recently hiring a new game director to lead work on future expansions, CD Projekt RED are surely hoping to put these past six months in their rear view mirror. Time will tell if it manages to succeed or if the damage has already been done. In the meantime, you can check out our review of Cyberpunk 2077 here

So, now that 7 months of patches and hotfixes are finally complete, we can move onto patches and hotfixes. Awesome! I was waiting for this.
