Team17 and developer NExT Studios have announced that Crown Trick, an adventure roguelike previously released for Switch and PC in 2020, will be making the jump to Xbox and PlayStation next month.
As protagonist Elle, you'll venture into ‘The Nightmare Realm’, navigating procedurally-generated dungeons inhabited by deadly traps and enemies that only move when you do. Boasting a unique synchronous turn-based mechanic, Crown Trick requires careful, strategical planning in order to survive each encounter.
Using more than 40 active skills, 60+ passive abilities, over 30 items to use, and 170-odd special relics, as well as elite ‘Familiar’ skills learned from enemies, you'll have a range of options at your disposal when engaging in Crown Trick's turn-based combat. And you'll need all the help you can get in escaping The Nightmare Realm.
Crown Trick will be releasing for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 31st August, and you can take a closer look at the dungeon crawling roguelike adventure in the announcement trailer below.
