Rooftop Games Canada has announced that FPS-strategy hybrid Lumis Gate has been delayed from its originally intended August release date to September 28th.
As spotted by Gematsu, the studio offered a statement with the delay announcement. It said: “Unfortunately, as we approach launch it has become clear that we need a little more time to ensure everyone has a great experience from day one."
"Our team motto has always been ‘gameplay first’ and we wouldn’t be staying true to ourselves if we didn’t take the extra time to get it right. With this in mind, we’ve made the difficult decision to move the launch of Lemnis Gate to September 28.”
The team thanked players for their understanding, and will be holding a beta for the PC version of the game from tomorrow at 6pm UK time until the 26th July. We had a brief hands on with the game last month, and you can read our preview thoughts over here.
Lemnis Gate is now scheduled to launch on September 28th on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC and will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.
