Anything cyberpunk is rather fashionable right now, despite the troubled launch of Cyberpunk 2077. Marking developer Neon Giant’s debut, The Ascent looks to be a heady soup of neat ideas, furnishing your custom character with powerful augmentations and weaponry, as you take the fight to criminal factions, corporate stooges, hostile robots, and anyone else who dares to get in your way.
With a sprinkling of Blade Runner in its design DNA, The Ascent looks pretty special, but is it as good as it looks?
