A new gameplay trailer for CrossfireX has dropped, offering a look at the first-person shooter's intense multiplayer, which will apparently feature interventions from a character known as ‘The Boogieman’. This just makes me think of a fella who's into disco dancing.
In CrossfireX, The Boogieman comes in various masked guises, including a fearsome gasmask with glowing eyes, a white mask with claw marks across it, and a skull-like mask, also with glowing eyes. It looks like he'll be playable, armed with overcharged akimbo guns, a white hot chaingun, or a pair of razor-edged scythes.
Mercenary Company will seemingly have to deal with The Boogieman or Boogiemen in CrossfireX, when the game eventually launches for Xbox and PC. Developed by Smilegate Entertainment, CrossfireX's multiplayer will be joined by a campaign from Control studio Remedy, when it releases “soon”. A date has yet to be revealed.
