Developer Milesetone has revealed its post-launch content plans for Hot Wheels Unleashed, which includes three Hot Wheels Passes for access to a range of DLC, including Hot Wheels originals, and a raft of licensed content from Batman, Barbie, Masters of the Universe, Street Fighter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more.

Car manufacturers like Aston Martin, BMW, and McLaren will also be lending DLC vehicles to the game, with free and premium content to be released periodically, with new vehicles, track builder modules, customisation items, and themed expansion sets (adding new environments) all on the cards.

Limited-time Racing Seasons challenges will also be available for new vehicles and special rewards. As for the first dose of DLC, that will be available on day one, with Hot Wheels Pass Vol. 1 offering 10 vehicles based on Barbie, DC, Street Fighter, and TMNT, alongside three customisation packs and three track builder modules.

The first pass will also bundle a Batman DLC expansion, while at launch, the game will feature 66 vehicles, including the Batmobile, the TMNT Party Wagon, the DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future, and K.I.T.T. from TV's Knight Rider. Hot Wheels Unleashed is heading to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 30th September.
