GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition Achievements Have Leaked

Richard Walker

It appears that the complete achievement list for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition has leaked, despite the collection still being without a release date beyond a rumoured December window. GTA III celebrates 20 years on 22nd October, so we were hoping to see it then, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.

Spotted on GTA Forums by VGC, the leaked achievements offer a look at the kind of objectives you'll be facing when the GTA Trilogy drops, with tasks spread across Grand Theft Auto III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas. All three games are included in the bundle, with graphical improvements and “modern gameplay enhancements”.

The GTA Trilogy - Definitive Edition was officially announced last week following retail listings, rumours, and the games popping up on Rockstar Games' own launcher. Apparently, the collection will get both a digital and retail release, with the latter rumoured to be arriving in time for Christmas. You can take a look at the leaked GTA Trilogy achievement list below.

  • Quite a few in each game this time around. Some may be challenging for younger players who never got a chance to play these games yet and a fun completion for the vets. Looking forward to this if this is the real thing.
  • There is a 100% completion achievement for each game, which I like, since it's actually fun to go for 100% completion, and you get in-game benefits for most of the tasks in each game.

Lots of missable achievements though for each game, unless they add a mission select mechanic, which I doubt is going to happen.
  • any idea if these games will be released separately or only as the trilogy?
  • @Rural As far as the leaks say, it's trilogy only, $60 for Xbone, $70 for Series
  • As long as the proper mechanics are fixed/modernized I could see these being really fun to 100%. I only ever 100%'d Vice City back in the day.
  • Doing those fire/paramedic/cop missions were tough as shit back in the day. I think I only ever got one or some of them done in Vice City.

I never finished San Andreas, I had it on PS2, then loaned it to a friend and something happened to it. Got it when it came to the og Xbox and I did the majority of the game, I left off when you start getting missions in the Vegas type area. I got the re-release versions on PS4, haven't even started it. Somewhere I still have the guidebook for this game, it was freaking giant, I want to say like 250-300 pages. Really should see if I can find that for when this comes out.
  • This is actually a decent list, nice mix of completion stuff and some misc ones. Just annoyed they kept the Take the Cannoli one from the PS4 version, that one is so boring to get, basically ruberband a chopper for several hours.
  • The San Andreas achievements are the same as the xbox 360 version, which took around 35 hours and it wasn't that difficult.

However, they added just a few more to this one and one of them is having a 100% completion which is very concerning XD especially for 3 open world games.

But I can't wait to play all of them, I was going to replay them anyways.
