Cyberpunk 2077 Free DLC and Updates Delayed to 2022

CD Projekt appears to have delayed all further updates and free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 until 2022.

While no official statement has been made by the Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 developer, the game's update roadmap on the official “Our Commitment to Quality” webpage has been altered as of 28th October 2021. The new roadmap shows September's Patch 1.31 as the last update of 2021, with “updates, improvements, and free DLCs” now pushed to 2022.

This change coincides with the recent news that the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions of Cyberpunk 2077 had also been delayed into 2022, along with the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The update roadmap for Cyberpunk 2077 was first laid out alongside an apology video from CD Projekt in January, so it's not exactly surprising to see it changed as we reach the end of the year. You can check out the new roadmap down below.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
