Forza Horizon 5 Already Has 800,000 Players Ahead of Tomorrow's Full Launch

Despite being available only through early access with the Premium Edition or Premium Add-Ons Bundle, Forza Horizon 5 has already coaxed more than 800,000 players, ahead of its full launch and release for Xbox Game Pass. It seems that some players just couldn't wait to dive in, and given how great it is, who can blame 'em?

VGC spotted that the game's Hall of Fame leaderboard has 800,000 players listed on it, meaning that right off the bat, developer Playground Games' latest is already firing on all cylinders. Taking the open-world racing to Mexico, Forza Horizon 5 may well be the best one to date, with Dan noting in his review that “it's quite easily one of the finest Forza Horizon games that Playground has ever made.”

Forza Horizon 5 launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC on Tuesday 9th November, available via Xbox Game Pass. Or you can play it right now with the Premium Edition, or with an Xbox Game Pass subscription and an upgrade with the Premium Add-Ons Bundle. • Well, it was over 1.1 million just at 7am this morning, over 1.2 million right now.

Seems like an experiment with the early access included with the premium bundle / game. Expect more of that with their other releases seeing as this was fairly successful.
  • I bought the standard edition, now way i was gonna pay nearly double for the ultimate edition to get it 5 days early and pre purchasing dlc you know nothing about yet.
