Ubisoft has dropped a load of new information on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction, including a release date, a new lower price, and a buddy pass.

As was previously leaked, Rainbow Six Extraction will now be launching on 20th January 2022, and at a more budget price of £33.99 / $39.99 / €39.99. Not only that, but each copy of the game will unlock two Buddy Pass tokens, that players can use to invite friends to play with them for free for up to fourteen days. Any progression made by players using the Buddy Pass during these two weeks can then be carried over to the main game if they make the purchase.

Players who have played Rainbow Six Siege will also receive an exclusive in-game United Front bundle, containing gear sets, as well as permanently unlocking all eighteen extraction operators in Rainbow Six Siege.

Ubisoft has also dropped a 9-minute deep dive video on Rainbow Six Extraction, detailing the game's many Operators, Gadgets, and React Tech. You can check out that video down below.

Rainbow Six Extraction launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, and PC on 20th January 2022.

  • After playing the closed beta, this game is very lackluster to say the least. I didn’t have high expectations going into it either.
