Critically Acclaimed Indie 'A Short Hike' Launches on Xbox This Week

Award winning indie game A Short Hike is making its way to Xbox and PlayStation this week, developer Adam Robinson-Yu announced over the weekend.

Originally released on PC back in 2019, before coming to Nintendo Switch last year, A Short Hike sees you hiking through the peaceful mountainside landscapes of Hawk Peak Provincial Park. As a bird, you can hike, climb, and even glide from area to area, choosing your own path to the top of the highest point in order to get phone signal for an important call.

There's no rush, however, and you can play the game at your own pace, veering off track to find hidden secrets, fishing on the riverbank, or chatting with other hikers you meet along the way. The game was critically lauded upon its earlier release, and Xbox players don't have long to wait now, with the game coming to Xbox One tomorrow.

You can check out the new trailer down below. A Short Hike launches on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 16th November 2021.
