Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition Brews Up a November Release Date

Matt Lorrigan

Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition finally has a release date, and will be launching on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on 30th November 2021.

The developer announced last month that the upgraded game would release by the end of November, and it seems they've managed it without a day to spare. But what is Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition, I hear you ask? Well, it's a new version of the April release of Oddworld: Soulstorm, complete with improved gameplay mechanics and motion code, improved AI for both allies and enemies, and months of extra polish and updates on top of that original game.

Additionally, there will be an entire new challenge game mode available, with two different modes available depending on whether you're playing on Xbox or PlayStation. On Xbox, players get access to Toby's Escape, which follows Toby from the train, and players like classic Oddworld games, with short puzzle levels to complete.

Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition arrives on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on 30th November 2021.
