343 Industries has detailed the changes that will be coming to Halo Infinite's Battle Pass, after players complained of slow progression.

Halo community manager John Junyszek has outlined what changes 343 will be making to the Battle Pass and multiplayer in order to speed things up. Firstly, “Play One Game” challenges will be added, allowing players to make progress by playing matches the way they want. Weekly Challenges will get adjusted, and in some cases, removed, allowing players to progress through them quicker. Also, 2XP Boosts will now last for a full hour, rather than 30 minutes, allowing players to get the most out of them

When the update arrives, it will reset players progress towards Weekly Challenges, so to make up for it, any players who log in from 23rd November to 30th November will receive this week's Ultimate Reward, the Sigil Mark VII Visor.

“We'll be watching these changes closely to make sure they have the positive impact we all want on your progression,” says Junyszek. “This is only our first step - we are committed to continue evolving these systems but it will take time. Thanks for joining our beta, and keep the feedback coming!”

Halo Infinite's multiplayer beta is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and it's surprised us with its polish and high quality.

  • The daily Xp is actually worse now. You get less.
  • 50xp per match is such a small amount. It does feel worse than it did earlier in the week... I still maintain it should be tied to your actual performance, getting XP for wins, medals, etc.
  • Yes. There should always be base XP for time spent, even in the solo campaign, but if your MVP in your SWAT game 5 matches in a row you should be shooting up levels like it's heroin. lol
  • Take away the battlepass plus or whatever it's called. Armor unlocks shouldn't be pay walled blocked. They should've taken a page from Reachs playbook when it comes to unlocking gear. This is just embarrassing.
