For some reason, I thought I'd take a punt on Farming Simulator this year, having never ever played one before. Farming Simulator 22 seemed like as good a place as any to start, and the idea of growing my own crops, then harvesting, and selling them, seemed like an enjoyable one.

Turns out, I got a lot more than I bargained for, with every conceivable facet of crop-tending, animal husbandry, and so on, all accounted for in minute detail. Who'd have thought that Farming Simulator would be such an all-encompassing and complicated thing, eh? Everyone, probably.

Whether you're a returning fan or newbie farmer, then, is it worth hitting the fields of Farming Sim? Or is the latest game a load of old crop?
