Since releasing early two weeks ago, Halo Infinite Multiplayer has had one major bone of contention among players, surrounding the slow rate of progression through Battle Pass tiers. The time it takes to unlock items is currently far too slow, according to many, and developer 343 Industries has since responded with some minor tweaks.
However, fans still aren't happy, and the slow rate of progression in the limited-time ‘Fracture: Tensai’ event, has only served to exacerbate the issue. 343 has said that it hears the criticisms, and will be looking to address the problem soon. Now, 343's Head of Design, Jerry Hook, has offered further assurances that MP progression will be looked at “next week”.
“Yes I am still playing Halo and feeling everyone’s pain on progression,” he tweeted. “We are back at it next week and this will be top of my list with the team.” Hook's statement comes the day before the Fracture: Tenrai event is set to end, at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm GMT/7pm CEST on Tuesday 30th November. It won't return until January 2022, and the capping of challenges means it's impossible to unlock everything.
Meanwhile, Halo Infinite Multiplayer Season One: Heroes of Reach has been extended until May 2022, as 343 looks to add campaign co-op and Forge mode to the game, following the launch of the campaign for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 8th December.
