Microsoft and developer 343 Industries have released a new live-action trailer for Halo Infinite, ahead of the impending launch of the game's campaign component next week. And it's a good one, featuring Master Chief surveying a ravaged battlefield, before jumping into the action.

“Throughout human history, heroes have risen when called upon,” the video's accompanying blurb reads. “The Master Chief carries each act of bravery with him into his most challenging battle yet. We've always believed in heroes, it's time to become one.” You can check out a Master Chief snippet and the full trailer below.

You'll be able to become a hero when Halo Infinite's campaign launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on 8th December, also available to play via Xbox Game Pass. Until then, you can while away the time in Halo Infinite's free-to-play multiplayer, which is due to undergo some changes to its progression in response to feedback from players.
