Frontier Developments has announced that Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be getting a new ‘Early Cretaceous Pack’ DLC next week, adding four new species of prehistoric beastie, including a couple of land-dwelling dinos, a marine one, and a flying reptile.
Each has its own behaviours, whether it's interacting with one another, fighting for dominance, or simply reacting to their environment. the new dinosaurs included in the pack are the Kronosaurus, one of the largest ever carnivorous pliosaurs, a marine reptile with strong flippers that help it capture prey.
The Wuerhosaurus is a stegosaurid that sits low to the ground to feed on vegetation, using its tail spikes (like its close cousin the Stegosaurus) to defend itself; while the Minmi is a tank-like ankylosaur, with bony plates protecting it from predators. Finally, the DLC includes the Dsungaripterus, a small, stout pterosaur with a distinctive head crest and curved jaw.
You'll be able to grab the Early Cretaceous Pack DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, priced $7.99/£6.69/€7.99. Check out our Jurassic World Evolution 2 review here and the Early Cretaceous Pack trailer below.
