Call of Duty: Warzone's new Pacific map, Caldera, launches next week, and we've got tons of new details courtesy of the Call of Duty Blog.

First up, here's the official map of Caldera, split into fifteen different and distinct areas, each with plenty of smaller points of interest to keep you occupied. There's a mix of wide-open spaces, vertical mountainous areas, coastal locations, and plenty more to mix things up. You can read the finer details on each individual area over in the blog post.

On top of the new map, Call of Duty: Vanguard Season One will bring tons of new content to Warzone as well, including weapons, operators, and more - details below.

  • 40 Weapons: The core 38 weapons from Vanguard’s launch, plus two free functional weapons in the Season One Battle Pass. All of these can be personalized with unlocked camouflage, and every ballistics-based weapon can be further customized with up to 10 attachments through the Gunsmith.
  • Over a Dozen Operators: Each of the Operators from S.O.T.F. 002–005 are ready to drop in alongside Special Operations Task Force 006 arriving this season…
  • Calling Cards, Emblems, and More: Show off your progress in Vanguard since launch to everyone in Warzone.

There will also be cross-progression between Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone.

On the map's launch day, players will also have access to the Vanguard Royale mode. This differs from the regular Battle Royale mode by adding new vehicles, such as fighter planes, AA Guns, trucks, and all-terrain transport vehicles, and will focus entirely on Vanguard weapons and operators. On top of that, the radius and time for circle collapses have been altered to change the pace, especially with dogfighting in mind.

The new Caldera map also makes changes to the Gulag, which sees any player who wins their duel dropped back into the map with any weapons they picked up in the Gulag. There's also lots of balance changes being made, which you can read about here.

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific kicks off on 9th December, with early access starting on 8th December for any players who own Call of Duty: Vanguard.
