Bungie has announced a bunch of free content for Destiny 2, as the studio celebrates its 30th anniversary. From today, you can claim collectible rewards, including the Myth Claymore Sword, Legendary Destiny 1 weapons, Thorn-themed armour, an Exotic Gjallarswift Sparrow, Marathon-themed armour, Bungie-themed streetwear armour, and loads more.

A limited-time 6-player matchmade activity and hidden secrets are also available, while the Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack has a new Loot Cave-inspired Dungeon to explore in the Cosmodrome environment, as well as the classic Gjallarhorn Exotic Rocket Launcher to unlock (along with its catalyst).

Additionally, the Bungie Foundation is hosting its Game2Give fundraising campaign for a third year, with a series of donation incentives, available until 15th December. You can get involved with the Bungie 30th Anniversary celebrations in Destiny 2 now, then look forward to the conclusion of Season of the Lost, and upcoming expansion, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen on 22nd February 2022.

  • Do people still play this game?
  • @1 sadly they always find a way to get people to return I been gone for several months now but will come back eventually when the game has something to offer
  • @1- They certainly do. I have a few friends that still play it as well as a fellow staffer here who still lives on the game. Like it or not, it's a pretty good game.
  • So people asked for the gjallarhorn to be added to destiny 2 for months and bungie's response was "it would be too strong / become the meta and other weapons wouldn't get used" . Well now its in the game and you can get it if you pay £22. So scummy.

Nevermind the fact its a free weapon from a previous game that they are now charging for.
