Frontier Developments has today released the Early Cretaceous Pack as the first paid DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2, with four new dinosaurs to introduce to your park. The content also includes new dig sites to visit, enabling you to unearth new early-era dinos.
The Early Cretaceous Pack includes the aquatic Kronosaurus, one of the largest even pliosaurs, packing paddle-like flippers and a huge jaw for capturing its prey. The Dsungaripterus can be released into your aviary enclosure, the hefty pterosaur easily identified by its upcurved jaw and rudder-like head crest.
The land-based Minmi armoured Ankylosaur and Wuerhosaurus, a member of the stegosaurid family, round out the DLC offerings, all four dinos presenting unique challenges with their own behaviours and needs to account for. A free update with new Jurassic Park and Department of Fish and Wildlife buildings is also out now.
The update adds five new campaign maps for Sandbox mode, as well as the ability to overlap shrubs for more natural-looking undergrowth, and a randomise option for a greater variety of dinosaur patterns and colours when bringing them to life in batches. all players can download the free update now.
The Jurassic World Evolution 2 Early Cretaceous Pack is available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, priced $7.99/£6.69/€7.99. Check out our Jurassic World Evolution 2 review here.
