Microsoft has today released its six-part ‘Power On: the Story of Xbox’ docuseries, teased last month. All six parts are available to watch for free (we've embedded all six episodes below), charting a 20-year journey from the conception of the original Xbox in 2001, all the way up to the release of Xbox Series X|S last year.
Across six episodes, you'll see behind the scenes insights from the development of every Xbox console, covering different chapters in the history of Xbox, from “humble beginnings” within Microsoft, to challenges with the Xbox 360's notorious ‘red ring of death’, to the company's attempt to acquire Nintendo in 2000.
Once you've finished watching the docuseries (each episode runs at around 40 minutes), you can then visit The Xbox Museum for a tour of your personal gaming stats and profile, from the first game you played, to your most popular genre. The Xbox Wire also notes that there's 20th Anniversary Xbox Gear to be purchased here, if you're interested.
