SEGA has launched the third post-launch content update for Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles today, adding two new playable characters to Versus Mode, more online missions for earning Kimetsu Points, brand-new rewards to unlock, and various balance changes.
Update v1.30 is available now, and introduces the twisted Enmu, armed with formidable long-range attacks and projectiles, as well as support skills that opponents are unable to guard against. Enmu is joined by the team of Yushiro and Tamayo, the former able to use attacks while dodging or parrying, while the latter can be summoned as Yushiro's support skill. When summoned, Tamayo acts as a sort of co-op character, fighting independently, bringing a “tag team” approach to combat.
The v1.30 patch also adds a 60fps option to online custom matches on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC, joining the 60fps mode implemented in Story mode and some controllable sections of offline Versus. Online ranked matches will remain at 30fps “to ensure a fair playing experience.”
Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles' latest patch is available now across all platforms, and you can take a look at the latest balance changes below, as well as a few screens of new roster additions Enmu and Yushiro & Tamayo. The new characters join Yahaba and Susamaru, added last month, and Rui and Akaza, added in the game's first update.
