Tropico 6 will be making the jump to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 at the end of March, publisher and in-house developer Realmforge Studios have announced. Boasting 4K resolution, the new-gen version of Tropico 6 will also bundle a bunch of DLC, previously released for the original 2019 release.
As El Presidente, you'll be able to expand your influence across the eponymous banana republic, engaging in political machinations across four distinct eras, balancing the wants and needs of Tropico's citizens, with your own selfish, dictatorial desires. As you burgeoning Island Paradise develops, you'll even be able to steal wonders of the world and furnish your island with them.
You'll be able to play Tropico 6: Next Gen Edition on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 from 31st March 2022, bundling the Llama of Wall Street DLC and El Prez Pack with additional missions, new buildings, an array of decoration options for El Prez's palace, and new stuff for the dictator himself. There's no mention of an upgrade path for existing owners of Tropico 6 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
