Despite already having its hands full with Star Wars Eclipse, rumours are swirling that developer Quantic Dream could also be returning to its 2013' The Dark Sorcerer’ PS4 tech demo. It's not the first time that Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human studio has toyed with the idea of making a full-fledged game out of the demo, but now, it may finally be underway.

The Dark Sorcerer rumours come via AccountNGT on Twitter (spotted by VGC), who has previous form in revealing Quantic Dream projects, having posted screenshots from Star Wars Eclipse, several days out from its official announcement. According to the info, The Dark Sorcerer game will be a “humour-based” affair, with a non-linear narrative written by David Cage.

Apparently, it will be cross-gen and is reportedly “more advanced” than Quantic Dream's Star Wars Eclipse title. Lest we forget, Detroit: Become Human itself was based on the studio's Kara tech demo from 2012, so QD has done this sort of thing before. The project could also come to Xbox, now that Quantic Dream is an independent studio.

Of course, none of the details regarding The Dark Sorcerer project have been confirmed as yet, so we'll have to sit tight and wait for something more official. Development on the “medieval fantasy” is reportedly situated in Paris, but the studio is struggling to hire for both The Dark Sorcerer and Star Wars Eclipse, according to the leaked details.
