FAR: Changing Tides has a new release date, and will now be pulling into port on 1st March 2022.
The sequel to 2019's FAR: Lone Sails, FAR: Changing Tides was first announced by Frontier Foundry around E3 last year, and sees the sand dunes of the first game replaced by a vast ocean that has risen up above a drowned world. The game was originally due to launch last year, but was delayed to early 2022. Now we've got the official new release date, and we're excited to see more of the game, which allows players to sail across the water, or dive down underneath it.
To celebrate the new release date, Frontier has also created a new soundtrack experience, utilising the game's lo-fi and chill OST, as well as some in-game assets, to create two new meditative videos. The first of these, titled ‘Above’, is available to watch and listen to know, and can be found down below, along with the game's new pre-order trailer.
FAR: Changing Tides is setting sail for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC on 1st March 2022.
