Developer Aviary Studios has announced The Gallery, a live-action FMV adventure set during 1981 and 2021 - both periods of “considerable political, social and cultural significance in UK history”. The game will feature more than 150 decision points, throughout a story filled with mystery and intrigue.

The Gallery will star Vikings and Versailles actor George Blagden, alongside Anna Popplewell (The Chronicles of Narnia), Kara Tointon (Mr. Selfridge and Eastenders), Rebecca Root (The Queen’s Gambit), Richard Fleeshman (The Sandman and Coronation Street), Shannon Tarbet (Killing Eve and Love Sarah), and Fehinti Balogun (I May Destroy You).

Combining a hostage thriller and social drama with a “dash of world film festival cinema aesthetic”, The Gallery has been written and directed by BAFTA winner Paul Raschid, and will be coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile in April 2022. A UK cinema release will also be in the offing, enabling the audience to participate in making majority decisions for an immersive, interactive experience.
