Dying Light 2 Will Get Five Years of Post-Launch Support

Matt Lorrigan

Developer Techland has committed to at least five years of post-launch support for Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

The news was shared on Twitter by Techland's Sheri Kryeziu, with plenty of new content planned to be coming to the parkour zombie game over the next few years, including more story DLC, more events, more locations, and more in-game items.

While a five-year commitment to DLC and additional content for a predominately single-player game might seem like a bold claim, Polish developer Techland actually has a good track record here, with the original Dying Light still getting new DLC last year, over six years since its original release in 2015. Even Dying Light's Hellraid DLC is still getting updates.

“Personally, this is one of the main reasons why I joined Techland in the first place. Gamers first,” Kryeziu followed up.

Techland previously claimed that 500 hours was needed to see all of the content in Dying Light 2 Stay Human, and these updates should push that number even higher, although players will still only need around 20 hours to finish the main story

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is launching on 4th February 2022. You can check out the latest trailer for the game here.
