Chernobylite's Free Monster Hunt Update is Out Now on Consoles

Chernobylite's first major content update, Monster Hunt, has finally made its way to consoles today.

Available as a free update, Monster Hunt adds in three brand new monster types to take down in the Zone - the aggressive Feral Chernohost; the gruesome Overgrown Duster; and the unsettlingly-fast Ancient Shadow. There's also a new Monster Hunt side-quest, which tasks players with killing one of the three new monsters. 

Alongside the new content, there's a new console “mega patch” which heavily redesigns the Black Stalker enemy, who will now actively look for the player, but won't respawn on the same day when defeated. There's also plenty of bug fixes and quality-of-life changes, and you can read the full patch notes here. Finally, there's a new premium “Autumn Dread” weapon skin pack available now on Xbox.

Chernobylite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
