Xbox Game Pass Leak Reveals Death's Door & Taiko: The Drum Master Will Be Added Soon

A bunch of Xbox Game Pass additions have been leaked ahead of their official reveal, thanks to an image found on the official Xbox Wire website, and it looks like we've got a really good couple of weeks ahead of us.

Plenty of these titles are ones that we were already aware would be coming to Xbox Game Pass in the near future, such as the new Hitman Trilogy, Ubisoft's upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction, and Nobody Saves The World, a new game from the Guacamelee developers.

However, two of the additions are both excellent, and exciting. Death's Door won the title of ‘Best Indie Game’ in our Game of the Year Awards last year, and if it coming to Xbox Game Pass this month means more people playing it, then that can only be a good thing. However, the biggest surprise is the addition of Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master.

This appears to be either a new entry, or an enhanced port, in the cult-classic Japanese drumming series. Taiko no Tatsujin came to Switch recently in the form of Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n Fun, using the motion controlled Joy-Con controllers, but questions remain as to how the game will be converted to an Xbox controller without the use of a drum peripheral. We imagine we won’t have to wait too long to find out, though, with an official announcement likely on the way this week.

  • "how the game will be converted to an Xbox controller without the use of a drum peripheral"

    My guess would be "badly"
  • Nobody Saves the World has dropped on XBOX
  • I guess that makes this week's discount on death's door not that great after all...
