Promising “authentic gameplay and an immersive tennis experience", Matchpoint - Tennis Championships is a new sim of the popular racket sport due to launch this spring. In development at Australian studio Torus Games, with Kalypso Media on publishing duties, the game will feature “realistic scenarios” and tennis tactics.

Positioning your player, you'll also have to contend with authentic ball physics, as you compete to rise through the ranks in tournaments and competitions across the globe. Matchpoint will include a solo career mode, online multiplayer, training modes,  a replay mode, and character creation options, as well as a roster of 16 real-life tennis pros like Nick Kyrgios, Kei Nishikori, Danill Medvedev, Madison Keys, and Amanda Anisimova.

Various licensed brands will also feature, such as Uniqlo, Head, and Nike, with all manner of clothing and equipment to deck your custom tennis player out in. Matchpoint - Tennis Championships will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in spring 2022. Check out the announcement trailer below.
