Windjammers 2 Review: An Exciting Sequel to a '90s Arcade Cult Classic

If you're old enough to recall the halcyon days of the arcade, Windjammers was one of those Neo Geo games that you'd occasionally see, and maybe even play if you had some spare cash, then go home and wish you had the funds to own the prohibitively expensive Neo Geo console.

Fast-forward almost 28 years, and publisher/developer Dotemu (of Streets of Rage 4 and Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap fame) have decided to put together a long-awaited sequel, with hand-drawn visuals and a '90s soundtrack. All this time on, though, does Windjammers 2 retain the appeal of the arcade original?
