Psyonix has announced a collaboration with musical artist Grimes, for Rocket League's latest event, titled Neon Nights. The game's first event themed around a musician, Neon Nights will include Grimes-themed items and new Event Challenges, as well as the return of the 'Golden Moons' Limited Time Mode, when it kicks off next week.

Via the Neon Nights Event Challenges you'll be able to unlock items including ‘Player of Games’ and ‘Shinigami Eyes’ Player Anthems, the former being a new song from Grimes due to release on 26th January. You can also earn Grimes-themed Gravitator and Space Queen Toppers, a Braided Trail, Grimes Decal, Grimes Wheels, Grimes Player Banner, Fireworks (Multichrome) Universal Decal, and Uncanny Boost.

Hopefully, you're a Grimes fan, or else there's not all that much here for you in terms of unlockable items. Elsewhere, however, you'll be able to take part in the chaotic Heatseeker Ricochet Limited Time Mode during the event, and earn Golden Moons to unlock items from the Impact, Nitro, and Overdrive Item Series.

Rocket League's 'Neon Nights feat. Grimes' event will go live on 26th January and run until 8th February, launching alongside a Year of the Tiger Free Bundle from the in-game Item Shop, celebrating the Lunar New Year with a Tiny Tiger Topper and Tyger Decal.
