Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs: Legion won't be receiving any further updates, the game's Title Update 5.6 released in September 2021, being its last. The last major update release for the game was Title Update 5.5, which added Assassin's Creed crossover character Darcy, and online PvP modes.
While no more updates are planned, Ubisoft has pledged to continue supporting the Legion's Online Mode with a fifth season of content on the way, although once that comes to an end, content from seasons 3-5 will be left on rotation. New and returning rewards will also be available for Online Mode.
“[Title Update] 5.6 was our final update for Watch Dogs: Legion. However, you can look forward to reward tracks in the Online Mode, containing both new and returning rewards," Ubi confirmed in a statement. “The current season 4 Rebels track, containing 80 ranks, will run until January 22, 2022, followed by Season 5 Stripes. After that, Seasons 3-5 will continue to cycle and return to the game, giving you the opportunity to acquire rewards you might have missed out on in the past.”
Ubisoft also noted that some of the upcoming rewards to look out for include a "modified version" of Aiden Pearce's jacket and Jackson's mask and clothing set. Aiden Pearce and Wrench featured in Watch Dogs: Legion's ‘Bloodlines’ DLC, which launched in July 2021.
"The game has grown by leaps and bounds, with a ton of content to explore, from a sprawling near future city to an action-packed Online Mode," the statement added. “We couldn’t be prouder of the game we’ve created, and we appreciate all of you who’ve joined us on this journey in London over the year. We look forward to seeing more of your adventures in Legion.”
Watch Dogs: Legion is available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC - you can check out our review here.
