Indie developer Uppercut Games has announced Submerged: Hidden Depths, a sequel to the 2015 exploration game, in which you pick through a city surrounded by water, primarily by boat.
Described as a “relaxporation” adventure, Submerged: Hidden Depths will have you playing as sibling pair, Miku and Taku, uncovering the mysteries of a sunken city, using a fishing boat to get around. Scaling crumbling skyscrapers immersed in the drink, you'll encounter new creatures and solve various puzzles.
Eventually, you'll piece together the game's story, while exploring a “rich, colourful and vibrant world” at a slow and relaxing pace. Submerged: Hidden Depths will be chugging its way to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out the new trailer below.
I got the first one but only managed to play for a bit. The climbing was janky AF and the frame-rate of the game was horrible. Maybe they'll be better in this one.
I just completed the first game today. The odds of them announcing a sequel on the same day I completed the first???? I would have never known what this article is about had I not just beat the first one. Wierd.....
