Bandai Namco has finally officially announced Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master!, following the game's reveal as one of this month's Xbox Game Pass titles, and it's out today.

A new title in the long-running (and hugely popular in Japan) Taiko no Tatsujin series, The Drum Master! sees players drumming along with the rhythm across a library of over 70 songs, with a mix of “classical to popular hits”. There's also plenty of video game and anime music, with tracks from Tales of Arise, Undertale, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, and more.

“The Taiko no Tatsujin series has been a long-running and cherished franchise for Bandai Namco Entertainment, providing decades of fun rhythmic gameplay to millions of players around the globe,” said Bandai Namco's Lin Leng. “Bringing Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master to the Xbox Series X|S platform, for the first time ever, delivers a family-friendly and unique gaming experience to a whole new audience who will surely enjoy the high-energy beats of taiko.”

The game supports local multiplayer, with a Score Battle mode, and online Ranked Matches as well. You can check out the Xbox launch trailer down below.

Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master! is available now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Xbox Game Pass.
