I loved AI: The Somnium Files. So I'm hyped for this follow up. Such an interesting story and cool characters. If it's in Game Pass like the first game, it'll be even better. :D

Spike Chunsoft has announced a June release date for AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative, and dropped an intriguing new story trailer for the game as well.
A sequel to AI: The Somnium Files, the cult detective game that first launched back in 2019, nirvanA Initiative follows Mizuki, one of the major characters from the first game, casting her as the main protagonist this time around. As a special agent, she and her AI partner Aiba have to solve a spate of serial killings.
These are particularly bizarre killings, however, with bodies being split in two, and the two halves seemingly turning up at different points in time. Mizuki and fellow special agent Ryuki have to solve this case, while also unveiling a strange plot surrounding something known only as the Nirvana Initiative.
You can check it out for yourself in the story trailer down below, which certainly sets up an intriguing mystery to solve when the game launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 24th June 2022.
