WWE 2K22 Looks Promising in Brand New 'Booyaka' Gameplay Trailer

2K Games has dropped the latest trailer for WWE 2K22, and things do very slick, even if we're still not seeing proper, unedited gameplay yet.

The new ‘Booyaka’ trailer features plenty of WWE Superstars, both old and new, and graphically it all looks very nice, with the game having been built in a redesigned gameplay engine. There's also loads of new animations, as well as new game modes, such as MyGM.

More information on WWE 2K22 has been promised to arrive later this week, so keep your eyes peeled here for when that news drops. We're cautiously optimistic about WWE 2K22, with the developer taking inspiration from fan-favourite titles No Mercy and Here Comes The Pain, and taking a whole extra year off to develop the game after the cancellation of WWE 2K21.

WWE 2K22 launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on 11th March 2022.

  • Man Charlotte looks rough. Everything else looks decent but Charlotte's model looks less than good.
  • Haven't been impressed with the last handful of titles enough to buy one so hopefully, the extra development time on this pays off. Would like an updated wrestling game for a bit of fun.
