The titles of the next five entries in developer Supermassive Games' The Dark Pictures Anthology have seemingly leaked this week, with season one in the horror series set to wrap up later this year.
The Dark Pictures Anthology is currently three games in, the series launching in 2019 with Man of Medan, before being followed up by Little Hope in 2020. The Dark Pictures continued with House of Ashes in October 2021, and fourth chapter The Devil in Me will conclude the first season, presumably in 2022.
It appears that the next crop of episodes might be a varied affair, with the font used for ‘Intercession’ suggesting a medieval setting, while ‘Directive 8020’ seems like a sci-fi episode. ‘The Craven Man’ brings to mind cult 70s horror classic The Wicker Man (not the Cage one with the bees), and both ‘O Death’ and 'Winterfold' sound suitably macabre.
Here's hoping we hear something official from Supermassive and publisher Bandai Namco regarding the second season of The Dark Pictures soon.
