The follow-up to developer Techland's cult favourite, Dead Island, 2015's Dying Light proved to be a pleasant surprise, whisking you away to the fallen city of Harran, where hordes of vicious Infected roam the streets and there's ample opportunity to engage in blood-soaked combat and agile, first-person parkour.
An ambitious sequel, Dying Light 2 Stay Human adds choice and consequence to the narrative mix, putting you at the centre of a struggle between rival factions, contained within a walled city called Villedor. And amid the chaos, as new protagonist Aiden, you can still show zombies the business end of a makeshift weapon.
It certainly seems very promising, but is Dying Light 2 a follow-up worth the wait?
