The resurrected Telltale Games has unveiled a new trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2, making good on its promise to provide an update on the game in early 2022. Bigby Wolf and the gang are set to make a long-awaited comeback next year, as Telltale also continues its work on a tie-in with sci-fi TV series, The Expanse.

The first The Wolf Among Us - based upon Bill Willingham's ‘Fables’ comic book series - released back in 2013, and told a gritty story set in Fabletown, New York, where fairy tales are real, and Bigby strives to keep everything in line as the town's sheriff, alongside Snow White.

The Wolf Among Us 2 will take place during the winter of 1980, six months after the incendiary events of season one. Reprising your role as Bigby, you'll take a case within the normal workaday world of the ‘mundies’, in a plot that's already been fully mapped out by Telltale Games.

Working on the game is a team that comprises around half of former Telltale developers, with the studio noting that it has a “long road ahead” before the sequel releases. The Wolf Among Us 2 is scheduled to launch sometime in 2023, and you can take a first look at the new trailer below.
