Bandai Namco has revealed SD Gundam Battle Alliance, a new action-RPG in the Gundam franchise, coming to consoles later this year.
The game sees strange incidents known as “Breaks” appearing across the Gundam universe, with players tasked with stopping them, and restoring the correct timeline. You'll take three mobile suits into each battle, either solo or in online co-op, with the ability to change and upgrade parts in order to boost your combat ability.
“We’re so excited to see how players react to famous scenes from various Gundam works in SD Gundam Battle Alliance,” said brand manager Katrina Castillo. “Whether playing with friends or playing solo, we encourage players to break the limits of their favourite Mobile Suits to win battles and lead their squads to victory!”
SD Gundam Battle Alliance launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC later in 2022. You can check out the announcement trailer down below.
