Streets of Rage 4 publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games have announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, a new side-scrolling beat ‘em up inspired by the classic 1989 Konami arcade game, will definitely be coming to Xbox One this year.

What’s more, as well as the four playable heroes-in-a-half-shell and April O'Neil, Master Splinter will also be available to play as, bringing his own ninjutsu prowess to the 4-player brawler. Wielding his staff, Splinter can dish out powerful ninja attacks, as demonstrated in the new trailer below, in which he mashes up the Foot Clan.

Featuring enemies from the animated series, including Krang's homeland of Dimension X, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge will also include classic enemies like Bebop and Rocksteady, as well as the old ‘kitchen utensil’ himself, Shredder. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2022.

  • This game just looks like stupid fun, I can't wait.
  • More hyped about this game than most games this year I remember playing Turtles in Time at a arcade cabinet with my siblings so much fun had
  • Cowabunga!!!!
I have been wanting this to come to Xbox since it was announced. Playing XBLA TMNT Arcade co-op with my wife is pretty much the only reason my Xbox 360 is still hooked up. Love classic Ninja Turtle beat em ups!
  • 99% sure it’s been confirmed for Xbox since it was announced
  • @Situation - It hasn't. It was confirmed for Switch and PC, but not for Xbox One or PS4. Today's news included full confirmation.
  • Stoked to get this on Xbox. Seeing Splinter doing Hurricane Kicks is amusing, to say the least. If the achievements are reasonable, I might bother with the completion.
  • Cannot wait for this!
  • So ready for this game. My longtime gaming buddies are hyped as well, we've already got a plan to get drunk & beat this game when it comes out. Might even use my buds raspberry pi that he has loaded old games & try to beat all the TMNT games. Except for the nes one, cause fuck that dam level.
