Nowadays, one-on-one fighters are increasingly becoming a rarity. Enjoying a heyday during the '90s, when arcade cabinets ruled the world, in recent years, the fighting genre has become more and more niche, which is why, when there's a new one, it's something to be celebrated.
And while KOF XV is about as far from 'new' as you can get, being the fifteenth mainline entry in a series that started back in 1994, developer SNK has brought plenty of fresh stuff to the table. Whether it's a few new characters or a slew of fresh fighting mechanics, there's certainly something for even the most seasoned of King of Fighters fans to discover.
The question is, does KOF XV have enough in the way of new content? Or is this merely a spruced up iteration of KOF XIV?
