110 Industries and Japanese team Soleil, the studio comprising former Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive developers, have shared another look at its “John Wick-esque” third-person action game, Wanted: Dead, in a new trailer for Valentine's Day.
Inspired by seminal examples of the genre, including Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Wanted: Dead features stylish finishing moves, violent swordplay with a bloody dismemberment system, with a dark storyline set in a cyberpunk vision of Hong Kong.
Playing as Lt. Hannah Stone, you're the leader of the elite ‘Zombie Squad’, a team tasked with rooting out the criminal underworld, working outside of the purview of the regular police force. Stone's has proficient sword and gun skills at her disposal, and can take breaks at the Atomic Heart diner.
Here, she can consume food and drink to acquire buffs, which subsequently give her an edge in any ensuing missions. You can also get to know supporting characters in Wanted: Dead's narrative.
