MLB The Show 22 is Getting a Technical Test on Xbox From Tomorrow in the US and Canada

Tomorrow will see the beginning of a technical test for MLB The Show 22, ahead of its release this April. Seemingly available for anyone aed 18+ in only the US and Canada, the tech test will offer players on Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch to take the latest entry in Sony's baseball sim series for a spin.

You'll be able to share gameplay from the MLB The Show 22 tech test, if you like, although Sony asks that you label your content as ‘tech test’ footage, as the game is currently still work in progress. The technical test will be available to download from the Microsoft Store later today.

MLB The Show 22 launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One (also via Xbox Game Pass), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on 5th April, the same platforms you'll find the technical test on (designed to test the game's servers, online matchmaking, co-op, and cross-platform play), from 17th February until 23rd February at 10am PST.
