Billed as a loving homage to scrolling beat ‘em ups of the ’80s and '90s, like Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, Final Fight and the like, Numskull Games has unveiled Final Vendetta, a retro-style brawler from developer Bitmap Bureau, due to launch this May.
Playable solo or in co-op mode, Final Vendetta features a “unique story”, four different game modes to choose from, and a “thumping dance/techno soundtrack” from Featurecast, alongside four exclusive tracks from '90s electronic dance duo, Utah Saints.
Boasting distinctive '90s-style pixel art and fast-paced gameplay, Final Vendetta promises to be a “modern take of a beloved retro genre” when it launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in May 2022. Check out the announcement trailer below.
