Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Grimlore Games have announced that SpellForce III Reforced will require some extra time in the oven, pushing the game's planned release date from March to June 2022.

According to the announcement, the additional time will ensure that “the game is in the best possible shape before it gets released,” Grimlore Games given some breathing room to implement a little polish to its RPG/RTS hybrid.

SpellForce III Reforced will now release for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on 7th June, priced $39.99/£34.99, alongside two expansions - ‘Soul Harvest’ and ‘Fallen God’ - available for $19.99/£15.99 each.

Both SpellForce 3 Reforced DLC expansions will offer more than 30 hours of single-player campaign gameplay, as well as new units, and more. Alternatively, you can get the base game and both expansions for $59.99/£54.99 with the SpellForce III Reforced Complete Edition.
