Interesting idea they have, 2 weeks should easily be enough time for everyone to be able to play through these adventures.

Rare has announced that its first Sea of Thieves Adventure has set sail today, taking buccaneers on a limited-time, narrative-focused journey to the ‘Shrouded Islands’, amid an “ethereal mist” surrounding the ruined Golden Sands Outpost.
Adventures will offer new secrets to uncover, battles to engage in, and fresh rewards to unlock, as well as an introductory cinematic trailer to set the scene. Shrouded Islands serves as the inaugural Adventure, running alongside Rare's Season-based free updates for Sea of Thieves.
Shrouded Islands centres upon the sudden disappearance of Captain Flameheart and sightings of the mysterious Belle, as Bilge Rats leader Larinna keeps an eye on the strange occurrences plaguing the Golden Sans Outpost. New players can head here for a story primer before diving into the Adventure, the first of many planned for 2022.
