Capcom Fighting Collection Announced For June Release With Darkstalkers, Street Fighter, and Others

Following the announcement of Street Fighter 6, Capcom has also confirmed the Capcom Fighting Collection for a June release, bundling ten classic fighting games, including five Darkstalkers titles, some of which will be available in the west for the first time outside of Japan.

Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire, and previously Japan-only entries Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire, will be included, as well as a few arcade deep cuts.

These include the first time Red Earth has released outside of arcades, as well as Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness, and a couple of Street Fighter classics, namely, Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.

All ten titles bundled as part of the Capcom Fighting Collection will feature online multiplayer ranked, casual, and custom match modes, with rollback netcode for a “low-latency experience” during online bouts. Training Mode has also been introduced, enable you to get to grips with the basics.

Local versus options, gameplay tweaks, and quality of life improvements like mid-game saves, as well as behind the scenes material in the in-game Museum will also be included, with the latter made up of more than 500 pieces of artwork, like concept sketches, design documents, and more.

The Music Player also includes more than 400 tracks to listen to. Capcom Fighting Collection will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 24th June 2022.

  • Easily more excited about this than the SF6 announcement. More so now I've seen this trailer. It'll also be a nice birthday present!
