The UK retail charts are in, and its been a bit of a strange week on Xbox, with a lot of older titles coming back in from the cold.
On Xbox Series X|S, this week's major new release, The King of Fighters XV, can only manage ninth place, just ahead of Halo Infinite and behind Fortnite Minty Legends Pack. Dying Light 2 stays top, while Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War comes out of nowhere and enters at number two, six places above Call of Duty: Vanguard. This seems to have been boosted by discounts as low as £15 last week.
On Xbox One, Call of Duty: Vanguard fared a lot better, climbing to number one ahead of Grand Theft Auto V and FIFA 22. Red Dead Redemption 2 stays at number four, while Maneater re-enters the charts at number five, after Asda starting selling the game for a measly £1.00 to clear stock. Cyberpunk 2077 makes a bit of a comeback, following the release of the Xbox Series X|S version and Patch 1.5, coming it at number six.
